Grom Racers at Ray's
Monday, January 4, 2010 at 8:31PM It's cold in the Carolinas and it's cold in Cleveland too. If it's cold just about everywhere, you might as well be riding at Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park in Cleveland. Grom racers and a few guests road tripped from the Carolinas and Virginia to get in a couple of days good riding at Ray's.
Wish we had some pictures for you but everyone was too busy riding. The group drove up on the Tuesday morning after Christmas and managed to get there in time to do some riding Tuesday night. When they turned the lock on Wednesday AM, Grom Racers were there to take it all in.
Thursday AM brought an early start and the return trip. Grom Coach Tim Price was in attendance and got some good riding done. Unfortunately, team President, Chris Herndon, wasn't able to make due to some travel delays.
If you are itching to ride and don't have any snow tires, head up to Ray's in Cleveland. Grom Racers found it to be fun, skill building, and the staff to be extremely friendly.
Talk on the road trip home was mostly about how quickly everyone could get back to Ray's.
