What is Specialized/GROM?

We are Gravity Racers On a Mission... to improve skills, character & performance.

Led by 2007 US National Slalom Champion Christopher Herndon, the team is currently comprised of 10 juniors with the talent and determination needed to change the face of American gravity racing.

Herndon has the able assistance of Tim Price, Specialized/GROM Racer and coach. Tim has raced and podiumed in races all over the U.S.A. and abroad (member of US Junior team participating in the 2006 and 2007 World Championship).

Between Christopher and Tim, they have the experience needed to train and produce world class riders who will be ready for international racing.

Specialized/GROM Racing is supported by some of the biking industry's top equipment manufacturers and other corporate sponsors that see the value in deveolopment of more youth participation in this growing sport: Specialized bikes, Cane CreekIndustry NineGAMUTSRAMSmithSnowshoe Mtn, and Troy Lee Designs.
